Common questions

Feel informed before you book.

Have a question before your visit? Explore answers about our clinic and your consultation, or get in touch. We’re here to help.

Do I need to know which treatment I want before I call?

No. You can contact us with a concern rather than a treatment name. Perhaps you have noticed expression lines, a change in skin texture, unwanted hair or something you cannot quite describe. Your consultation is a place to explain what bothers you, what you would like to preserve and what would make a result feel right for you.

We can then discuss the approaches that may be relevant and why. Bring up your priorities, whether that is a subtle change, time away from work, comfort or cost. You can compare options, ask about doing nothing for now and take time to decide without committing to a procedure.

Who performs clinical treatments at Laser Aesthetics?

Laser Aesthetics is a nurse-led clinic. Our Registered Nurses provide clinical treatments within their professional roles and with medical oversight. The person involved in your care depends on the service and the assessment it requires, so we will help you understand who to speak with when arranging your consultation.

You are welcome to ask about the provider's role, relevant training and experience with the treatment you are considering. It is also helpful to clarify who assesses suitability, who performs the procedure and how questions afterward are handled. Our About page introduces the team so you can learn about the people behind your care before visiting.

What happens during a consultation?

Your consultation starts with your goals and the concern you would like help understanding. We discuss relevant health history, medicines, skincare and previous treatments, then consider which options may fit. An injectable consultation and a laser consultation involve different considerations; choosing a treatment comes after understanding the concern.

The conversation should cover the intended benefit, limitations, possible unwanted effects, recovery and cost. Ask how the options compare, whether several visits may be needed and what follow-up would involve. Bring notes or questions if that helps. Before deciding, you should understand both the proposed change and the practical commitment, including reasons to wait or choose another approach.

Is my consultation confidential?

Yes. Your consultation at Laser Aesthetics is private, one-to-one and confidential. Concerns about your appearance or health can feel personal, and you can discuss them directly with the clinical team rather than putting a detailed medical history into a website enquiry. You are welcome to explain any privacy concern at the start of your visit.

When contacting us, provide the details needed to arrange a conversation and let the team know your preferred way to be reached. If you have questions about records, photographs or how information is handled, ask before sharing it. Our Privacy page explains the website's information practices; the team can discuss questions about your individual care.

Is the consultation complimentary?

Yes. Laser Aesthetics offers a complimentary consultation with no obligation to have treatment. There is no consultation fee for discussing your goals, learning about suitable options and asking the questions you need answered. You do not have to choose a procedure before contacting us, and you are not expected to make a treatment decision on the spot.

The treatment itself is a separate cost. Before proceeding, ask what the proposed price includes, whether a series is recommended and whether maintenance or later appointments would involve additional costs. If you have a budget in mind, say so. Understanding the overall plan helps you decide whether it fits your priorities as well as your goals.

Where is Laser Aesthetics located?

Laser Aesthetics Cosmetic Medical Centre is at 2180 Itabashi Way, Burlington, ON L7M 5A5. We serve Burlington and nearby communities including Oakville, Milton, Hamilton and Brantford. We also welcome people travelling from elsewhere in Halton Region, Brant County and Niagara Region who would like to discuss care at our Burlington clinic.

If you are travelling from outside Burlington, contact us before making the trip. Ask whether your first visit is a consultation, what preparation is needed and how a proposed course or follow-up would fit your travel plans. Our Visit the Clinic page has the map and hours. For help arranging your visit, call (905) 332-9930 and confirm your appointment before travelling.

Why does Laser Aesthetics have a smaller online footprint?

Laser Aesthetics has served Burlington for more than 25 years, while its active online presence is newer. Much of the clinic's history was built through personal conversations and private patient care. A smaller collection of online posts does not tell the whole story of a clinic, just as a large social following does not establish whether a treatment is suitable for you.

Use the website to learn about our team, explore the services offered and prepare questions for your consultation. Ask about the experience relevant to your proposed treatment, how your options are assessed and what support is available afterward. Those details can help you make a more informed choice than online visibility alone.

Why does a cosmetic treatment need a professional assessment?

The same visible concern can have different causes, and treatments that sound similar may work in very different ways. An assessment connects your goals with your anatomy, skin, medicines and health history before a recommendation is made. It also gives you a chance to discuss risks, recovery, alternatives and cost. At Laser Aesthetics, the complimentary consultation is where those questions belong; you do not need to select a procedure before contacting us.

Bring the questions that matter to you.

You do not need to arrive with medical terminology or a treatment selected. Tell us the change you are considering, what you hope to keep the same and what worries you. It is also helpful to explain any upcoming events or limits on recovery time.

The service pages provide more specific questions about injectables, skin care, laser treatments and other options. Use them to prepare, then ask the team to explain the recommendation in relation to your own goals and health history.
